About
Yvette holds a Ph.D degree from the Kinesiology and Community Health program at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. She is a qualitative methodology specialist and a community-engaged researcher with 10 years of experience in community-based participatory research. She has worked on various research projects including geriatric health, chronic disease, precarious employment, bladder health, and immigration. Yvette has mentored university-level students and has taught Kinesiology courses at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
