Sylvia Gonzalez, MPH
Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences
Since 2017, Sylvia has served as staff on the Greater Lawndale Healthy Work project. She assists with knowledge translation, dissemination of findings, and evaluation. Before joining the GLHW Project, she worked on immigrant rights campaigns, youth advocacy projects, and labor rights initiatives in Minneapolis, MN. Sylvia is a graduate of the Master of Public Health program from the University of Illinois Chicago and is a Doctoral candidate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the Pacific College of Health & Science. Sylvia is passionate about addressing issues of racial equity and healing justice.
