About
Adriana worked as a bilingual, certified navigator for the Affordable Care Act at Sinai Health System in 2013, where she was able to listen to people’s testimonies and what they were struggling with. She appreciated every single participant that trusted her enough to share their stories and she was happy to assist and connect them to resources and other organizations. Adriana was also a volunteer at Mujeres Latinas en Acción, a women’s empowerment program in Pilsen, and participated in the ordinance for Healthy Communities Cook County (HC3). As a community resident, she has shared her insight on community experiences with the GLHW Project. She is very passionate about her job, loves people and her purpose to make a difference in this wonderful world.
