About
Leonarda has been working with Chicago Community & Workers’ Rights (CCWR) for over 10 years. Before organizing with CCWR, she worked at a factory and developed a work-related injury to her wrists and hands. She and other co-workers connected with CCWR to develop skills to fight back and organize for a better work place. With the support of CCWR, she knows her voice matters and that she does not have to live in fear. She facilitates various know your rights workshops across Chicagoland and supports workers as they fight for just working conditions.
