About
Madeline is a Community Health Educator at Mount Sinai Hospital and co-chair for the Sinai Urban Health Insititute Culture and Engagement Committee. She works on different prevention projects, including working in the ER with patients with nonfatal gunshot wounds, has training conducting visual lead inspections to determine the possibility of lead in a home as well as providing lead education, and serving as an asthma educator. Her role as an asthma educator includes teaching community members how administer their medicine accordingly and identifying any triggers that may enable asthmatic symptoms. Madeline is also a Courage to Quit Leader, trained by the Respiratory Health Association, to assist those interested in quitting smoking.
