- Conduct a landscape scan to understand the characterization of cooperatives and organizations that incubate cooperatives in Greater Lawndale, and to build relationships with these organizations.
- Conduct a mixed methods neighborhood-wide feasibility and readiness study for expansion of cooperatives to understand community demand, community acceptability, and practicality of expanding cooperatives in Greater Lawndale.
- Develop community-informed success metrics for cooperatives that balance financial profitability with social outcomes such as community ownership, leadership and civic engagement.

- Built collective knowledge of research methods (interviews, participant observation) and human subjects research.
- Co-created a protocol for the landscape scan including creating an interview guide, a site visit/tour checklist, a recruitment tracker, a study flyer, and recruitment scripts.
- Worked together to recruit 3 co-ops/co-op incubators to the study, with 2 additional expressing interest.
- Working with GLHW project staff to conduct 6 individual interview in-person in Spanish within the next ~ 2 weeks.
