Portillo’s workers at Aurora food prep facility vote to unionize
Workers at Portillo’s food preparation facility in Aurora voted 23-16 to unionize with the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers Local 853, marking the second unionization at a Portillo’s location in the suburbs. Despite contested election results at the Addison location, workers have expressed their desire for improved living standards and family well-being through union representation.
