Raise the Wage Act Passes the House
This morning, July 18, the U.S. House of Representatives passed, in a bipartisan vote, the Raise the Wage Act, which would deliver raises to almost 40 million working people across the country, and would eliminate the exclusions of workers with disabilities and tipped and youth workers from federal minimum wage protections.
